Having read the chronology it seems that when Bubba played the fiddle for the IMB dance, Tom, Jerry and the rest of Bubba's children missed a few of the steps they had practices for so long before the shindig started.
Now it seems that they want to blame someone for greasing the floor.

The grasshopper comment did not mean anything other than the fact that I was just borrowing a statement from the old TV show Kung-Fu. It took grasshopper a long time to be able to walk across rice paper without tearing holes in it. Eventually, he did so and then they called him a Shaolin Priest.
I am sure you are no novice but I just want you to know that the things posted in relation to those at SEBTS and SWBTS are all true. There was no fabrication and there was no exaggeration. Frankly, the author of that Blog statement does not know all of the truth about some of those people he mentioned.
You are probably the kind of man that would be sickened if you really knew more of the things that I know about some of those people. I do not know who the person was who posted that information, I do know that it was not me. I am sure that there are less than 30 people who have the material and data to validate that post. But believe me the material is there and will someday be revealed.
This is one thing that some on the list fear. They know that it can all be verified. Why do you think that no one tried to refute it who was on the list? Because several of them are also blogging and I know they read Marty Duren's blog every day.
Please forgive me if I offended you with the "grasshopper" statement. It was meant lightly for I am sure you are no grasshopper. That was just a nickname to the David Carradine character in Kung-Fu. If you ever saw Kung-Fu on TV you know he never lost a fight so if you are a grasshopper, which I am sure you are not, let it be said that you are the "baddest" grasshopper in the land.

My advice to Marty was concerning being careful not to allow people to throw comments into the mix that are undocumented and partial facts. I considered some of the comments to be taken out of context. I question the motives of anyone who runs down a shotgun list of individuals that sounds disrespectful and undocumented. It didn't match with what "Jimmy" claimed to be arguing in favor of, namely diversity of views. I'm sure you are aware of some things that I do not know. But, I do know that I recieved an excellent education from some of those professors. Some of the things said I know are true (as a matter of fact, I agree with them). Some other things mentioned I would not, if they are true. But that is truly a minor issue in the grand scheme of things right now, isn't it?
